Paint en plein air in our 'basse cour' under the guidance of landscape painter Mireille Duchesne. La Basse Cour is happy to be part of Delaware-Schoharie-Otsego Family Farm Day! Join us for tours and demonstrations, visit with our friendly farm animals, stop in our textile studio, shop in our farm store and meet many local farmers and artisans who offer their products here. And be sure to visit other nearby farms on the driving tour, local restaurants and shops, and historic and natural sites! Make it a family fun day!

Free of charge workshop / demonstration led by Julie Rockefeller. All are welcome. Bring your own enthusiasm and expertise to share with others. If you want to try your hand, you may either bring your own 16" ciruclar knitting needle and 2 colors of yarn or borrow some things of ours to use for the afternoon. Drop in when you can and leave when you must.
